If you feel the story pressing at the edges of your life, you already know this is the moment. You're ready to stop circling the truth. To stop waiting for courage to materialize. To turn toward the story that's been asking for your attention.
You aren't here to simply “write more.”
You're here to build a relationship with the self who can finally put the truth on the page.
This cohort is the threshold between the old story that shaped you and the self who’s ready to tell it.
Thresholds have a way of calling us home.
The Work Begins Before the Writing Does.
Autumn asks us to turn inward. As the days shorten and the world begins letting go, there's an opening. The story you've been circling finally comes into view. A threshold. A place where your old narrative no longer fits.
Usually, it's a story you've spent years trying not to feel. It keeps resurfacing because, somehow, you know writing it is the only way through.
Most of us already know what this story is. We know what happened. We know it in our bones. It's just that our nervous systems learned to experience remembering as reliving, so every time we reach for the page, another part of us reaches for protection, pulling us back into the survival strategies that once kept us safe. That's what the body does. It tries to keep us safe from what it perceives as danger, even when the danger has passed.
And yet the story doesn't stop asking. It presses against the edges of your life, inviting you toward the truth you've spent years trying to outrun. It's asking you to walk past the line you've drawn for yourself. Somewhere inside that story is a deeper relationship with yourself—the one that's been waiting beneath the fear, the shame, and the strategies that helped you survive.
This cohort is for the woman who understands she is at a turning point. For the woman who feels the old narrative loosening. For the woman who wants a safe, grounded way to begin writing the story she's been carrying.
You don't have to become someone different to tell this story. The work is remembering the self who can already hold it. Over these four weeks, you'll find the structure, somatic grounding, and gentle pace to build a relationship with that self—practicing staying present as emotionally charged memories arise, working with fear instead of fighting it, and learning to witness and write your story without becoming consumed by it.
This is not a series of craft classes. This is not about productivity or even trying to make your writing “good.” This is an initiation into the self who can hold the story you need to tell.
THIS IS ABOUT:
Connecting with the self who can hold the story
Writing as a path toward healing
Working with the nervous system instead of against it
Dismantling shame with curiosity and compassion
Building a different relationship with fear
Reconnecting to the wisdom of the body as a doorway to your story
Creating rituals that help you return to yourself and the page
THIS IS FOR YOU IF…
You want to write your hard story but don’t know where to begin.
You can feel the story in your body, but the words won’t come.
You’re afraid of hurting someone, being seen, or being misunderstood.
You’ve tried to start before and always hit the same wall.
You're tired of trying to do this alone.
You want tools that help you stay connected to yourself when difficult memories arise.
You're ready to trust the writer you already are.
WHAT WE'LL PRACTICE TOGETHER
Over four weeks, you’ll learn a gentle, powerful somatic approach to writing your hardest stories without abandoning yourself.
Week 1: The Inner Shift
A first meeting with the self who can hold the story. We explore the difference between remembering and reliving, why what you’ve called a “block” has actually been a form of protection, and how to begin building a relationship with the part of you that can witness your experience without abandoning yourself. This is where identity begins to shift.
Week 2: The Gatekeepers
Fear, shame, resistance, doubt—we meet them not as enemies but as protectors. We learn to listen to what they're protecting, soften our relationship with them, and begin loosening the belief that writing the truth is dangerous. This is where the story begins to feel less like a threat and more like an invitation.
Week 3: The Somatic Doorway
The body remembers what the mind can't always reach. This week we learn to enter memory through sensation rather than force, following the body's wisdom as a doorway into the emotional truth of the story. You'll practice recognizing your edges, returning to the present when needed, and writing from lived experience without losing yourself inside it.
Week 4: The Devoted Practice
Together we'll create a somatic writing practice rooted in ritual, self-trust, and a deep relationship with yourself—one that can hold you long after the cohort ends. A way of showing up that becomes part of who you are, not just what you do. This is where writing becomes less about waiting for courage or inspiration and more about returning to yourself.
EACH SESSION INCLUDES
Gentle somatic practices
Weekly teachings
Guided writing invitations
Small-group witnessing, connection and sharing
An integration guide to carry into the week
A replay of the session, available for those who can’t attend live
A short suggested reading to help you arrive in the week’s practice
This is creative work that honors your story, your body, and your return to yourself.
WHAT YOU WILL WALK AWAY WITH
By the end of four weeks, you will have:
a deeper trust in the writer you already are
a more grounded, embodied relationship with fear and practical tools for meeting shame with curiosity instead of avoidance
a somatic approach to writing difficult stories without abandoning yourself
a sustainable writing practice rooted in ritual, devotion, and self-trust rather than productivity or discipline
the experience of being deeply seen and witnessed in community
a clear path for continuing the story you came here to tell
You'll leave with a way of meeting both your story and yourself with more presence, compassion, and trust.

IF YOU’RE FEELING THE YES IN YOUR BODY…
That's the part of you who already knows.
The self who can hold this story has been here all along. This is simply an invitation to trust her.
You don't have to become someone different.
You don't have to wait until you're fearless.
You don't have to do it alone.
You only have to take the first step.
It's time to stop abandoning yourself when the writing gets hard.
It's time to cross the threshold.
When the self who meets the story changes, the life that unfolds from it changes, too.
FAQ:
-
No. This isn’t about skill or craft. It’s about truth and capacity. You don’t need a writing practice, a project in progress, or any formal training. All you need is a story that’s been tugging at you and a willingness to meet yourself with honesty and care.
-
A replay will be available for every session and sent out within 24 hours.
You’ll also receive a short after-care PDF, prompts, and suggested practices each week so you can engage with the work at your own pace. -
That’s the whole point of this container. We’re learning to enter emotional material without collapsing into it. Every week includes somatic grounding, pacing tools, and a clear structure to help you meet the story from the steadier self we cultivate together.
-
No. This is a somatic writing space. It’s a blend of nervous-system awareness, emotional pacing, and narrative practice. You’re welcome to be in therapy alongside this work, but nothing in this cohort replaces clinical support.
-
Sharing is always optional. Some women find meaning in being witnessed, and others prefer to keep their pages private. You’ll never be pressured to read aloud.
-
You don’t need to. Week by week, we’ll help you locate and meet the story from a grounded, resourced place.
-
Readiness is not a feeling, it’s a practice. If your story keeps resurfacing, that is the readiness
-
About 30 minutes per week (optional). You’ll receive suggested reading and simple practices to support the work, but nothing that overwhelms. Think nourishment, not homework.
-
Indirectly, yes. This cohort isn’t necessarily about producing pages; it’s about transforming the self who meets the page. However, you may find the pages flowing more freely when doing this work.
