If you feel the story pressing at the edges of your life, you already know this is the moment. You’re ready to stop circling the truth. To stop waiting for courage to materialize. To turn toward the thing that’s been following you for years.
You aren’t trying to “write more” this year.
You’re trying to meet the version of yourself who can finally put the truth on the page.
This cohort is the threshold between the old story that shaped you and the self who’s ready to tell it.
Thresholds have a way of calling us home.
The Work Begins Before the Writing Does.
A new year always asks something of us.
I’m not talking about resolutions or slogans about reinventing ourselves. I’m talking about something deeper, something more insistent. I’m talking about the way an initiation begins.
There comes a point when you understand that you can’t keep standing at the edge of your own life. You begin to see the outline of the thing you’ve been circling. A threshold. A break in the weather. A place where your old narrative no longer fits.
Thresholds clarify. They show you what you can no longer carry, and what won’t release its hold on you until you turn toward it.
Usually it’s a story—the one you’ve been avoiding. The one that keeps resurfacing because writing it is the only way through.
Maybe you’ve been orbiting the writer you want to be for years. Maybe you’ve been waiting for the right moment, the right conviction, the right version of yourself to begin.
But the story doesn’t wait. It presses in, asking you to walk past the line you’ve drawn for yourself. Inside that story is the identity you keep trying to move toward. The one you recognize in flashes but can’t quite hold because the old narratives of fear, shame, and self-doubt still pull you back.
This cohort is for the woman who understands she is at a turning point. For the woman who feels the old narrative loosening, the one who senses the self beneath her survival strategies rising to meet her. It’s for the woman who wants a clear, safe way to walk into the story that’s been waiting for her.
Because telling the hard story is not about becoming someone different. It is about remembering the self who can hold it.
This cohort gives you the structure, the somatic grounding, and the gentle pace needed to return to that self and write from her steadiness.
When the self who meets the story changes, the life that unfolds from it changes, too.
This is not a craft class. This is not about productivity or even trying to make your writing “good.” This is an initiation into the self who can hold the story you need to tell.
THIS IS ABOUT:
identity shift
narrative healing
somatic truth-telling
identity reclamation
dismantling shame
rewriting your relationship with fear
reconnecting to the body as a doorway to your story
creating rituals that help you actually show up for the story and yourself
THIS IS FOR YOU IF…
You want to write your hard story but don’t know where to begin.
You can feel the story in your body, but the words won’t come.
You’re afraid of hurting someone, being seen, or being misunderstood.
You’ve tried to start before and always hit the same wall.
You want support, not isolation.
You want to tell your story without overwhelming your nervous system.
You’re ready to step into the writer identity you already are, the one you’ve been afraid to claim.
WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE
Over four weeks, you’ll learn a gentle, powerful somatic approach to writing your hardest stories without abandoning yourself.
Week 1: The Inner Shift
A first meeting with the self who can hold the story. We explore the difference between remembering and reliving, why what you’ve called a “block” has actually been a form of protection, and how to build internal capacity without overwhelming your system. This is where identity begins to shift.
Week 2: The Gatekeepers
Fear, shame, resistance, doubt—we meet them not as enemies but as protectors. We learn to work with them, widen your capacity, and shift the patterns that believe writing the truth is dangerous. This is where the story begins to feel less like a threat and more like an invitation.
Week 3: The Somatic Doorway
A body-based path into emotional memory without overwhelm. Practices for staying with yourself while you write, recognizing your edges, and stepping out when needed. This is where you learn to enter the moment and write from its emotional truth without losing yourself inside it.
Week 4: The Devoted Practice
Ritual, rhythm, and the creation of a writing life that can hold you long after the cohort ends. A way of showing up that becomes part of who you are, not just what you do. This is where we map your next steps and a sustainable path forward.
EACH SESSION INCLUDES
Gentle somatic exercises
Weekly teachings
Guided writing prompts
Small-group connection and sharing
a one-page after-care PDF to carry into the week
A replay of the session, available for those who can’t attend live
A short suggested reading to help you arrive in the week’s theme
This is creative work that honors your story, your body, and your return to yourself.
WHAT YOU WILL WALK AWAY WITH
By the end of four weeks, you will have:
a clarified sense of the writer you truly are
a grounded, embodied relationship with fear and the tools to disarm shame
a somatic pathway for accessing difficult stories without losing yourself
a writing rhythm rooted in devotion, not productivity and discipline
a community of women who can walk alongside you
a simple, clear map for continuing the story you came here to tell
You will leave with the ability to meet the page as your whole self.
WHY NOW?
Because this year is not asking you to reinvent yourself. It’s asking you to remember yourself. To reclaim the identity beneath the survival strategies. To choose your future instead of repeating your past. To break the cycle and disrupt the pattern. To finally tell the story that has been shaping you from the inside out.
The new year is a threshold.
Somatic writing is the doorway.
This cohort gives you the structure and support to walk through it.

FAQ:
-
No. This isn’t about skill or craft. It’s about truth and capacity. You don’t need a writing practice, a project in progress, or any formal training. All you need is a story that’s been tugging at you and a willingness to meet yourself with honesty and care.
-
A replay will be available for every session and sent out within 24 hours.
You’ll also receive a short after-care PDF, prompts, and suggested practices each week so you can engage with the work at your own pace. -
That’s the whole point of this container. We’re learning to enter emotional material without collapsing into it. Every week includes somatic grounding, pacing tools, and a clear structure to help you meet the story from the steadier self we cultivate together.
-
No. This is a somatic writing space. It’s a blend of nervous-system awareness, emotional pacing, and narrative practice. You’re welcome to be in therapy alongside this work, but nothing in this cohort replaces clinical support.
-
Sharing is always optional. Some women find meaning in being witnessed, and others prefer to keep their pages private. You’ll never be pressured to read aloud.
-
You don’t need to. Week by week, we’ll help you locate and meet the story from a grounded, resourced place.
-
Readiness is not a feeling, it’s a practice. If your story keeps resurfacing, that is the readiness
-
About 30 minutes per week (optional). You’ll receive suggested reading and simple practices to support the work, but nothing that overwhelms. Think nourishment, not homework.
-
Indirectly, yes. This cohort isn’t necessarily about producing pages; it’s about transforming the self who meets the page. However, you may find the pages flowing more freely when doing this work.
